Letting your life be built on Jesus

I feel so blessed to have ended the 21 days of prayer and fasting with all of you at RLC yesterday with our special Alabaster Sunday service. As I am moving forward now I have been praying about what Pastor Mike asked of us to fast every Wednesday for the rest of the year. While I was praying about it I read this verse today and it spoke to me about letting my life be built on Jesus. Even on Wednesdays.

6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. ⁷ Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
